fastPAYE is a flexible wage system that partners with major UK brands across multiple sectors to deliver financial wellbeing to employees and improved retention and morale to employers. We have developed specialist technology that we have built and maintained our own proprietary technology stack that fully integrates into the Workforce Management platform of our parent companywww.theshopworks.com, home to many renowned UK retail, leisure and hospitality brands.
With a substantial marketing budget for 2020 and increased awareness of flexible wage products we are expecting strong demand and need a direct sales person to convert enquiries into customers. As a fast PAYE sales executive, you will be part of the Sales and Marketing team, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be working across teams to define our approach and strengthen our proposition.
You’ll be quick to establish credibility within the business, take initiative and establish effective working relationships across both technical and non-technical teams.
Here's what we'd like you to do:
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.
Conduct lead generation activity via Linked and e-mail.
Work with and manage marketing and lead generation agencies to create targeted leads and prospects.
Filter all leads and prospects against our target criteria to focus on high value customers.
Produce proposals and tender responses.
Provide high quality demonstrations of the product.
Manage leads to a conclusion including negotiating contracts.
Capture and share initial scoping requirements from customers.
Liaise with our operations team to ensure the onboarding of new customers.
Maintain and actively manage a sales pipeline via Hubspot.
Attend shows and conferences as required to support your objectives.
Identify leads and opportunities for our other products, including our ShopWorks work force management software.
Provide reports to our internal senior management team to help us keep track of our sales pipeline.
Support other members of the sales and marketing team in achieving their objectives and take a full part in company activities outside your core objectives.
Educated to Graduate Level or equivalent
A UK Driving license is desirable
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar sales environment with a deep understanding of the b2b technology environment.
Strong understanding of the process for highly complex sales into enterprise level customers and dealing with multiple decision makers.
Knowledge of HR, WFM, payroll or SaaS platforms would be an advantage
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and presence to build relationships and influence key partner stakeholders
Experience of submitting tenders and completing high quality proposals.
A flair for client communication and excellent written and verbal English.
Strong listening, consultative and presentation abilities
Analytical thinking and ability to identify trends and patterns
A proactive, can do approach to client needs and issues
Sense of urgency and ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a timely manner
Solid organizational, prioritization and time management skills
Competence sales and CRM tracking tools, especially Hubspot an advantage.
Foreign language skills an advantage.
The role will be based in London but will require travel throughout the UK and possibly overseas.
