We have developed specialist technology that we have built and maintained our own proprietary technology stack that fully integrates into the Workforce Management platform of our parent companywww.theshopworks.com, home to many renowned UK retail, leisure and hospitality brands.
In addition to selling fastPAYE to ShopWork’s customer base we are looking to agree partnerships with other work force management, payroll and HR providers and for them to sell the product to their clients. As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be part of the Sales & Marketing team responsible for maintaining and advancing both new and existing partnerships. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be working across teams to define our approach and strengthen our proposition.
You’ll be quick to establish credibility within the business, take initiative and establish effective working relationships across both technical and non-technical teams.
Here's what we'd like you to do:
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential partners.
Manage potential partner leads to a conclusion including negotiating contracts.
Oversee the onboarding of new partners, including liaising with our technical and implementation teams to ensure a smooth integration.
Support all partners in their sales efforts including attending sales calls with major potential end customers
Maintain and actively manage all partners sales pipeline.
Provide training support for all partners to enable them to sell fastPAYE
Deal with support issues for our partners and liaise with internal teams to ensure issues are managed to a successful conclusion.
Attend shows and conferences as required to support your objectives.
Identify and develop new revenue opportunities for our partners to sell other fastPAYE or ShopWorks products
Identify complimentary products within our partners for fastPAYE and ShopWorks to resell.
Provide reports to our internal senior management team to help us keep track of our partners successes and challenges.
Educated to Graduate Level or equivalent
A project management qualification is desirable
A UK Driving license is desirable
2 years’ experience in Partnership Management with a deep understanding of the b2b technology environment.
Knowledge of WFM, payroll or SaaS platforms would be an advantage
Sales and negotiation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and presence to build relationships and influence key partner stakeholders
A flair for client communication
Strong listening, consultative and presentation abilities
Analytical thinking and ability to identify trends and patterns
A proactive, can do approach to client needs and issues
Sense of urgency and ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a timely manner
Solid organizational, prioritization and time management skills
Project management skills an advantage.
Business analyst skills or experience in scoping out requirements would be an advantage.
Competence with project management and issue tracking tools an advantage.
Language skills an advantage.
Appreciation of the latest legal/regulatory and compliance issues and requirements.
The role will be based in London but will require travel throughout the UK and possibly overseas.
